One-Moment Meditation by Martin Boroson

I happened upon this YouTube video, One-Moment Meditation by Martin Boroson, and found it a delightful introduction to meditation.  Boroson shows us we can capture “our moment” wherever we are, whatever we are doing. In his words, “Take a deep breath … and realize that there is an easy way for you to reduce stress, anger, anxiety and fear. There is a way to find a calmer, more focused state of mind right now. Even if you haven’t been able to meditate before.”

In his book, One-Moment Meditation: Stillness for People on the GoBoroson says, “Think of all the moments you “lose”: stuck in traffic, standing in line, waiting for a download. And think of all the moments you “waste”: working when you’re not focused, or fiddling with your phone. What if each of these moments offered you an extraordinary opportunity?”  In One-Moment Meditation, Martin Boroson distills the philosophy of time into a simple form of meditation that you can do anywhere, anytime.
