Don’t Take Life So Seriously. It’s Not Like You’re Going To Get Out Alive.

Don't take life so seriously

This made me laugh out loud today! “Don’t take life so seriously.  It’s not like you are going to get out alive.” It was perfect timing.  Unbeknownst to me, I was being way too serious this morning otherwise I would not have had the great laugh I did. That’s okay, I got the message and raised my head and heart up.

My experience is that when I get so serious, my perspective of life gets smaller.  Gratitude also snaps me out of a too serious mood.  Having the laugh and then going to gratitude – that’s a winning combo in my world.  Don’t get me wrong, there are times to be serious and there are serious times.  As with all things, life needs balance and that includes seriousness and laughter.

How about you?  Are you being too serious?  Do you need a dose of laughter? Does gratitude help you?

I was unable to find the person responsible for the above picture and quote.  Whoever you are – thank you so much!

I had a big laugh and have shared the picture on facebook! This same morning I was being way too serious about an open relationship in which I’m starting to have feelings about the girl. We had a talk about it last night and she told me to relax and take life less seriously. This pic has made my day. (Hope you, whoever you are, are still blogging and reading the comments).
